NEWS: Oliver Hoare Signs With OnRunning

Earlier today, Oliver Hoare announced that he has signed with OnRunning. The former Wisconsin star is joining Colorado alum and recent OnRunning-signee Joe Klecker as one of the newest professional athletes for the Swiss-based brand.

On Monday, Hoare and Klecker became the first two men to ever run under the four minute mile barrier on Colorado soil. Hoare recorded a time of 3:56.8 while Klecker ran a time of 3:58.4.

Hoare has been one of the best distance talents in the NCAA for years now. The 2018 NCAA 1500 meter champion will enter the professional running scene with personal bests of 1:49 (800), 3:37 (1500), 3:54 (mile) and 7:48 (3k). Hoare was also an eight-time All-American between cross country and track (which includes his national title).

OnRunning is expected to announce the full roster of their new professional training group next week. It has also been announced that Dathan Ritzenhein will be the team's coach.
