NEWS: Ivy League Cancels Winter Sports

Earlier today, the Ivy League announced that they are cancelling winter sports for the 2020-21 season due to ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision to cancel winter sports was unanimous. Additionally, the Ivy League "will not conduct competition for fall sports during the upcoming spring semester."

The announcement also stated that student-athletes in winter and fall sports "will not lose a season of Ivy League or NCAA eligibility, whether or not they enroll."

The Ivy League was one of the first Division One conferences to cancel collegiate conference competition for the 2020 spring season as well as the 2020 fall season. They are the first major conference to cancel competition for winter sports this year.
