GRAD TRANSFER: Shea Foster to Oklahoma State Next Fall

Shea Foster has announced that he will be finishing his athletic eligibility at Oklahoma State starting next fall as a graduate transfer. He currently has two years of eligibility remaining. Portland, Ole Miss and Washington were among the candidates in the running to land Foster.

Few distance athletes had a better 2020 than Foster. The Southeastern Louisiana University runner had a monumental breakout year while racing unattached, securing huge personal bests of 14:00 (5k) and 28:40 (10k) over the past two months.

Oklahoma State has now landed a potentially massive piece for their 2021 fall cross country team should Foster's track performances translate to the grass. Depending on who returns next fall to use their extended eligibility, the Cowboys could have one of the most complete cross country lineups in the entire NCAA next year.
