LEARN ABOUT THE ROLE

The Stride Report is looking for applicants who will be able to establish their own journalistic network within the collegiate distance running space and stay up-to-date on the latest developments of NCAA and NAIA track and field and cross country.

News topics that an applicants may be reporting on include, but are not limited to, transfers, high school recruiting, international recruiting, changes to NCAA legislation, status of top athletes, N.I.L. and professional contract signings, coaching changes, doping/cheating developments, university sponsorship of track and field and cross country rosters, conference realignment, and more.

Our reporter will also be able to write and craft articles that are of public interest, but are not necessarily "breaking" news such as entries for future NCAA Championships and major invitationals, historically elite or unexpected performances, new facilities being built for track and cross country, etc.

Essentially, any piece of news that is relevant to track and field and cross country -- that would also be of interest to our audience -- is something that could be published on our site.
