Yesterday, Clemson distance runner Logan Morris announced that she will be joining the Arkansas Razorbacks as a graduate transfer next year. According to TFRRS, Morris will have one year of eligibility remaining in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.

Morris has been one of the more underrated distance talents in the ACC for the past few years. The former Clemson runner owns personal bests of 2:09 (800), 2:55 (1k), 4:41 (mile), 9:27 (3k) and 10:07 (steeplechase). Morris also owns a 15:56 5k PR from the 2019 Virginia Challenge when she was competing unattached. Her 4:41 mile PR converts to 4:38 after flat-track conversions.

The soon-to-be Razorback had the best cross country season of her career back in 2018, finishing 8th at the Joe Piane Invitational, 29th in the Pre-Nats White race and then 6th at the Southeast Regional Championships. That 6th place finish would qualify Morris as an individual for the national meet that year.

Morris will be a huge addition for an Arkansas roster that lost a heavy portion of last year's title-winning lineup to graduation and expired eligibility. She will bring veteran experience and valuable scoring potency to Fayetteville later this fall as the Razorbacks attempt to piece together yet another nationally competitive top seven.
