CONFIRMED: Caleb Brown In Transfer Portal

The Stride Report has confirmed that Caleb Brown, a true freshman with the Wisconsin Badgers, is currently listed in the transfer portal.

The Ohio native was one of the top distance recruits in the country for the Class of 2020. Brown owns personal bests of 8:54 (3200) and 14:51 (5k). He also finished 3rd at the loaded Nike Cross National Championships during the 2019 cross country season and was the 2019 New Balance Outdoor National Champion in the 3200 meters.

Brown, alongside Evan Bishop and middle-distance specialist Abdullahi Hassan, headlined one of the NCAA's top distance recruiting classes for Wisconsin coming into this year.

With full eligibility, Brown will likely be a coveted distance talent who could end up being a massive scoring piece for whichever team lands the young star.
