CONFIRMED: Aaron Bienenfeld In Transfer Portal

The Stride Report has confirmed that Cincinnati's Aaron Bienenfeld is currently in the transfer portal. The Bearcat ace is expected to finish this academic year with Cincinnati before using his remaining eligibility (which is expected to be all three seasons) elsewhere. Bienenfeld is currently pursuing his Masters degree and may do a one-year program at his future school.

A top distance talent who has made significant improvements over the last few seasons, Bienenfeld owns personal bests of 3:44 (1500), 4:04 (mile), 8:01 (3k), 13:42 (5k) and 28:46 (10k) on the track. His 1500, 5k and 10k personal bests were run overseas earlier this summer.

Bienenfeld is a two-time cross country national qualifier who went undefeated in the NCAA circuit last fall, taking home wins at the AAC Championships and the Great Lakes Regional Championships. Bienenfeld opted not to run at the 2019 NCAA XC Championships and instead run in the German U23 Cross Country Trials. He would go on to run for Germany's U23 team at the 2019 European Cross Country Championships.
