The Stride Report has learned that Alabama's Eliud Kipsang, the NCAA record holder over 1500 meters with a personal best of 3:33.74, will be turning pro and signing with Adidas. The Kenyan distance ace will join Tinman Elite in Boulder, Colorado.
The Crimson Tide star also holds highly impressive marks of 1:46.99 (800), 3:54 (mile), 7:53 (3k) and 13:39 (5k). In total, Kipsang is a three-time All-American on the track and was also the overall winner of the 2021 SEC XC Championships.
