Yesterday, the NCAA's Division I Competition Oversight Committee announced in a statement that fall championships are set to go on as planned. The NCAA is expected to "keep the same formats, the same timelines and the same previously determined sites for fall championships."
The announcement stems from the results a conference survey as well as the information that is "currently available".
The Competition Oversight Committee also noted that "modifications" could be necessary as states take different approaches towards handling the pandemic. The NCAA also acknowledged they will be "nimble to react to a fluid and unpredictable environment".
