ANNOUNCED: Haverford & Carnegie Mellon Cancel Fall Sports

Both Haverford College and Carnegie Mellon University have announced that they will be cancelling fall sports this year. Both programs compete at the Division III level.

Haverford's announcement -- which took place on July 7th -- fell on the same day that the Centennial Conference announced that they were suspending fall sports and reevaluating their decision in September.

Both Haverford and Carnegie Mellon have been consistently competitive distance running programs at the Division III level. Haverford's men's team qualified for the 2019 D3 NCAA XC Championships this past fall while both the men's and women's cross country teams at Carnegie Mellon also qualified for the national meet last fall.
