NEWS: Ivy League Will Not Hold League Competition This Spring

Earlier today, the Ivy League announced that they will not be holding league competition or hosting league championships this spring due to ongoing concerns regarding the Coronavirus.

However, the Ivy League Council of Presidents has "put in place a process that may allow for limited, local competition during the spring if public health conditions improve sufficiently to allow greater levels of in-person activity at Ivy League campuses" according to the release.

The Ivy League is now one of the first known major conferences to opt out of spring competition. The Ivy League was also one of the first conferences to opt out of fall and winter competition during this academic calendar year.
