GRAD TRANSFER: Justin Weber to Finish Eligibility at Villanova

The Stride Report has confirmed that former Air Force runner Justin Weber will finish the rest of his athletic eligibility at Villanova as a graduate transfer. Weber will join the Wildcats with one season of outdoor track eligibility remaining. He is currently in the process of applying for an additional season of cross country eligibility.

During his time with the Air Force Falcons, Weber slowly developed into a respectable long distance talent. The future Wildcat owns personal bests of 14:19 (5k) and 30:28 (10k). He was also a member of Air Force's national qualifying cross country squad in 2018.

Weber will be joining a Villanova team that is losing numerous top scorers to expired eligibility this fall. According to TFRRS, Casey Comber, Andrew Marston and Nathan Rodriguez have all completed their cross country eligibility.

If Weber is granted an additional season of cross country eligibility, he will bring national meet experience and additional depth to a Villanova team that qualified for the NCAA XC Championships in 2019. With high school star Liam Murphy also joining the Wildcats this fall, it is clear that the Villanova men are slowly reconstructing their roster in the wake of veteran departures.
