GRAD TRANSFER: Destiny Collins to Finish Eligibility at Baylor

Earlier today, Destiny Collins announced via Instagram that she will be finishing the rest of her athletic eligibility at Baylor University as a graduate transfer. After spending four years with Texas, Collins has only outdoor track eligibility remaining.

Collins was an integral part of Texas' squad over the past four years. During her time with the Longhorns, she earned personal bests of 4:19 (1500), 4:43 (mile), 9:19 (3k) and 16:14 (5k). Collins also made three appearances at the NCAA XC Championships with her team and was a three-time top-10 finisher in the South Central region during cross country.

The soon-to-be Baylor Bear will be staying in the BIG 12 conference as she pursues her Master's degree. Collins is joining a program where she will instantly be the top distance runner on the team.
