CONFIRMED: Ehab El-Sandali in Transfer Portal

The Stride Report has confirmed that Ehab El-Sandali (Iona) is currently on the transfer portal. He will be looking to use the rest of his eligibility for the 2021-2022 academic year as a graduate transfer. According to TFRRS, El-Sandali has all three seasons of eligibility remaining.

El-Sandali has been one of Iona's top distance runners for the past few seasons, posting strong times and finishes in both cross country and track. During the fall of 2019, El-Sandali finished 6th at Pre-Nationals before placing 41st at the NCAA Championships, just one spot shy of All-American honors.

On the track, El-Sandali boasts solid personal bests of 4:07 (mile), 8:03 (3k), 13:52 (5k) and 29:16 (10k). He also ran 29:02 for 10,000 meters on the roads at the 2019 Northeast Regional Championships.
